Winding River Campground is a quiet, smaller 25 acre campground that doesn't have all the traffic and noise of a large property. We have shady campsites in a friendly community of campers.

Winding River Campground is a summer camping community that enjoys the peacefulness of being in nature and away from the sounds that come with everyday living in the city.
Our campground does not engage in loud music at camping sites nor late night partying. If you are looking for a weekend or holiday site and know that your mode of camping is different than what the atmosphere is at Winding River, you will want to look for a different campground for that kind of use. There are plenty of wonderful campgrounds that do not mind louder music or later than 11pm activity.

We want everyone to enjoy their time at Winding River Campground with the least amount of issues.
Campground Rules
Like every campground, our Rules are designed to ensure that everyone has a safe and pleasant stay at WRC. It is your responsibility to read and follow the Rules. The Store will have a copy of the Rules and they are also posted on our "Campground Notes" board on the Lodge building.

ALL of the sites have Water & access to 20 amp Electricity
Site 101 & Site 102 are the Tent Sites
Tenters can make an online reservation on those sites
You can also call to make a Tenting reservation at the Tenting Rate for sites designated as RV sites on the online system

We usually try very hard to put tenters in the sites that offer the best accommodations for a tent and also within easy access to the Shower Houses.

A credit card is required to make the reservation.

Reservation is paid in full at the time of booking.

Must be 21 years old to make a reservation

A site is for 4 adults and children under 18 years old, 2 vehicles, and 2 pets. Extra adults can be added for $6/night. SITE MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY 6 PEOPLE.

A small tent can be added as long as the site does not exceed 6 people
To Make A Reservation
Reservation Cancellation
If a reservation needs to be canceled, a camping credit will be issued that can be used for the current season.
For Holiday weekends, cancellations need to be made 3 weeks before the Holiday weekend to receive a camping credit. If a cancellation is made within the 3 weeks before a Holiday weekend no credit will be given.
